ARGENTINA AND URUGUAY
The national flower from Argentina and Uruguay is the ceibo ( pronounce say -bo), also call as bucare.
The ceibo is a small tree normally grows five to eight meters. This specie grows wild along water courses.The tree´s trunk is woody with irregular form and spiny branches. The trees flower in summer from October to April.

The national flower from Bolivia and Peru is the cantuca. The name comes from qantuta in quechua language. This flower is the Inca´s sacred flower. According to the Inca´s legend the cantuta flower represents the hope and optimism.
It can be found in the high valleys of the Andean territory in Bolivia and Peru.
The cantuta grows in cold regions. It´s a thine plant and a very fragile one.
The national flower of Brazil is the ipê amarelo(yellow ipê). Ipê is the name of a group of seven species found in South America forest. The ipê has now become the top export out of Brazil.

Orchid´s are the national flower from Colombia and Venezuela. They call it ” flor de mayo” ( May flower). Are known about fifty species of this type of orchid, all of them are from tropical zones in South America. The attractiveness is the size of their flowers. The orchids are herbaceous flowers, they live in trees and the leafs grown around a bulbous.
